  1. not out and the next time when he hits the stumps he should uproot the stump ...

  2. I'm not 100% sure but if the bails fall off without the ball hitting them the fielders can still pull the stumps (a stump) out of the ground with the ball in their hands. this is deemed out if the stump is removed b4 the batsmen is in his crease. As i said i think this is correct but i'm not 100%

  3. lazyboy_1990 is nearly right but not quite. The ball must dislodge the bails (i.e. they start hitting the ground) before the batsman's bat (or leg)passes over the crease line.

In the above situation, definitely not out.

  4. If bails are dislodged there can be no stumping after that.

The bails have to be on the wicket before stumping. As stumping means dislodging the bails.

  5. Gazza is right. If the bails have been dislodged for any reason, the fielder must have the ball in his hand and pull a stump from the ground before the batsman reaches the crease...

  6. then it doesnt count because rules clearly state that the ball must touch the wickets (or bails) in order for it to count as an out
