In dash DVD player?

How do I bypass the, "watch only when the parking brake is on" feature? There is a green wire that ties in to your parking brake switch that enables video only when it is set. I assumed it just needed 12 volts and attached it to the power wire. My video still won't work. Looks like no movies during the 6 hour drive this 3 day weekend!

ok a cheap and tempory fix is to "rig" the parking brake switch to make the car think that the parking brake is on. But keep in mind that this will also keep the brake light on as well... But that is the best i can do for you without seeing more details on the matter.

go to a car audio shop and tell them what you want to do, they will have you sign a contract saying that they are not responsible for your "bad" decision making (driving while a TV is on in the front seat, and its illegal) and they will charge you about $20
