In dream interpretation. . .

In dream interpretation what does it mean if you dream of characters from a book that you haven't read in years? I don't want to go into details of the dreams but I have had several with one character from a book that I have read in ages. Basically I start of not liking the character and by the end of the dream we're friends.

Characters represent qualities. When you think fo Batman you pair certain qualities to that character. So the characters you dream of are not a common choice, there is meaning. You need to understand what those characters represent. An example for me, is I have had dreams with my gf in them, but she and I looked completely different, different bodies and all, I might have been Robin Hood and her Maid Marianne, and through those characters I can get insight into our relationship.

The fact that you disliked each other then you become friends, it might suggest someone you will meet, and at first you might not like them, but in time you will. Thats what I gather.
