  1. For the driving test I believe it's:

    Put car in neutral, put on handbrake, turn off car.


  2. I always leave it in gear, particularly on a hill, so it doesn't roll away if the handbrake fails.  If you're on the flat or facing uphill, first gear.  If you're facing downhill, reverse.

  3. foot on clutch put car into nutural put handbreak on then turn car off!!!

  4. I voted for Tunic.  Certainly leaving it in neutral when parked is NOT a good idea.  Especially for american cars, the parking/emergency brake is not always that effective unless really applied firmly, and the vehicle could easily roll down a hill.  Also front wheels should be turned towards the curb on a downhill, or away from the curb on uphill street.
