  1. No.  There is a way to eat regularly and exercise within reason that will allow you to remain thin, but still be healthy.

    For example:

Breakfast= One egg, a piece of toast and an apple, plus one small glass of orange juice

Lunch = spinach salad with 4 ounces of chicken, diced vegetables and lemon juice for dressing.

Dinner = 2 ounces of chicken, 1 cup brown rice, one cup of vegetables.

That meal plan will not make you fat at all.  But it WILL keep you healthy.

  2. noooo. it is not just about gaining fat, it is muscle. please just be open to it. they feed you healthy food. they are helping you.

  3. I have experience with a friend in an eating disorder program so I will tell you how it is.

They will not make you fat-- that is not their goal.  What they are trying to do is bring you to a weight that is optimal for your health and optimal for the functions of your body to work properly.  You are deficient in many important minerals for brain and body function, as well as the nervous system.

Your body will change but you are not becoming fat.  It is water weight, it is muscle mass (which weighs more than fat, so look in the mirror instead of judge on the scale).

The more cooperative you are, the more freedoms you will have and the easier the program will be on you.  You have to show that you changed or else they will make it harder on you.  You will never be able to go to the very low weight you are because it is extremely bad for your health.

When you are in the program they will want you to reach a certain weight, but to be honest there is nothing wrong with being 5, 10 pounds underweight (depending on your height).  I am just being real because I know how you think about your body, and allowing yourself to be "thin", but not starving, is a good in-between.

You can be extremely skinny but not look like a runway model because your bodies are different.  It is about genetics-- models do not look like that naturally/it does not come easy-- photoshop, lighting-- and the gain weight right after the photoshoots.  I was extremely, extremely underweight and the bones in my torso stuck out, but my legs were disportionately bigger-- it is about how you are built.I looked better to others and myself when I weighed more.

It is SUCH a good feeling letting go.  I wasted my life with dieting.  The answer all along was joining a gym (I did not need to lose weight-- just tone up and get in shape) and eating right, and eating fun stuff on occasion.

  4. No.  no.  and no.  they are trying to keep you alive.  breathing. amongst the mortal realm.  it isn't a plot to sabotage your self esteem nor your waistline.  without a certain amount of body weight, your organs will shut down.
