If nobody "buys it now" and i have the best offer, is the seller obligated to sell it to me or is it like a reserve where it's optional?

  1. no the seller is not forces to sell to you. they have the option to take the offer or not take it. several people may make an offer also and you won't be able to see what they are so unless you get the item that is no way to be certain if your offer was the best till after the auction is over.

  2. they are not obligated to accept your offer. the only time a seller is obligated to sell at a certain price is when they list an item as auction and there is no reserve.
