  1. this happened to me in hungary i think, and they told us you can use the same ticket for the next day, it can't be stamped yet, and it had to be for the same time and place.

  2. what does the ticket say? In Holland you buy a ticket that's valid all day, guess its the same for Germany?

  3. If you booked the ticket for a certain time, like the train that leaves Berlin for Hamburg at 3:00 PM on June 20, and you're sitting in Car 14, Seat 12, then no, but you might be able to get a refund for all or part of a ticket price.

If the ticket is not for a specific seat on a specific train, they are usually good for travel within seven days of purchase.

  4. it's been a while but that ticket should be good for 7 days from date of purchase and good on any train as long as you sit in the correct class car. also inter-city trains have a small sir charge add you may be required to pay that charge, not to worry the conductor will let you know when he validated your ticket! You can pay the sir charge directly to the conductor!
