  1. simply go to format cells and change format to general and non- decimal or else u can click the tool bar for icon besides comma icon.

  2. just write click on cell or cells and select PROPERTIES > choose the GENERAL tab > then in number .. choose your format ... or choos GENERAL format cell for your cell ...

or select cell > format menu > format cell .

  3. You need to FORMATyour cells to how you would like it to look.

  4. 666?!!! Bah bahhhh bahhhhhhhhhhhh

  5. since you're typing in 6666 and it's changing to 66.66 then it's NOT a format issue.  The issue is that you've set excel to auto insert decimals.

    go to Tools > Options

    select the "Edit" tab

there's an option there called "Fixed Decimals".   Turn it off and your problem is solved.

PS: above commands are for excel 2003.  If you're in excel 2007 do a search in the help section for fixed decimals to find out where they moved this option.

  6. Your excel is programed to insert a decimal it seems.  Go to "Format" and then "Cells"...whatever it's highlighted to it should show you why it's doing that.  You can fix it by clicking on "general" as your choice and the cells should show as you've typed them.

  7. Right click on the cell and select Formatt cells

In that select the format you want and then ok

  8. you need to move the decimal point two places to the right so you don't get the .66

    look in cell options
