  1. The first 2 answers got it correct.

    Fantasy baseball doesn't actually have a "quality start". They might have the category, but their quality start goes off of what the MLB defines as a QS.

    However I don't actually agree with that being a quality start. Now a days 3 runs is seeming to not be enough. I figure 7 innings at 3 runs would be the correct amount. The fact that they limit it to 3 innings, is quite...weird.

  2. The definition of Quality start is stupid.  Yes it is 6IP while allowing 3 Earned Runs or less.  But if the pitcher pitches 9 innings but gives up 4 ERs then it's not a QS.  How stupid is that?

    Hmmm 9 IP, 4 ER = 4.00 ERA is NOT a QS

    But 6IP, 3 ER = 4.50 ERA is a QS?  That's just stupid

  3. at least 6 innings pitched while giving up 3 runs or less.

  4. The pitcher has to pitch 6 or more innings allowing 3 or less earned runs.
