  1. In Feng Shui, colors are not associated to a corner, but to an element. Colors are characteristics of the elements. So, red is associated to the fire element.

To know where you should have the fire element at home, you have to examine your home using the 8 mansions and the Flying Stars systems of Feng Shui. If you want to know more about how it works, have a look here:

  2. there is no such thing as a wealth corner in chinese fengshui. i know that many authors have gone rich from selling books about the bagua system, but they are not just based on a fengshui concept or technique, such as flying stars, 8 mansions, 5 ghost carry money, etc.

regarding colors, you can use any color you want. but please do note where you put bright colors like very red, very orange and very yellow colors - as these "activate" both good chi and bad chi. when good chi is activated, then good things happen. when bad chi is activated, then bad things and accidents happen.

chi is the unseen energy that occupies space. fengshui uses chi to optimize life making it easier or harder. the more space you have with good fengshui (meaning you use the space with good chi for living, and leave the space with bad chi for storage and toilets), the more easier your life will be. the less space you have, the less chi it occupies - thus, less to work on in terms of fengshui.

going back so, even if your concept of a wealth corner were true, you still need to know flying stars concept, to identify whether to space has good chi or bad chi.
