no you can't you say un mille cinq cents

J'espere que ceci vous aide ( I hope this helped)

    L'Antipodien

  3. "il y a beaucoup de filles qu'on peut choisir"

is how I would say what you're trying to say.

    Here's why:

    * de la quelle means "of which" and you wouldn't say "there are many girls of which you may choose"

    * you could easily say "que tu peux choisir" except that the French when making a general statement use "one" rather than "you" and so I said "qu'on peut choisir" but "que tu peux choisir" is grammatically correct

    * to be honest, I can't remember or identify a difference in the usage of "a" versus "de" in this sense and I feel that they both work, but I'm leaning more toward "de choisir" out of personal preference (for the other options)

edit: not places! endroits! I was thinking in English, silly me.

    "il y a beaucoup d'endroits d'aller" or

"il y a beaucoup d'endroits où on peux aller" or

"il y a beaucoup d'endroits qu'on peux visiter" (slightly different)

are possibilities for your second question.

    Here's why:

    * "en" replaces a previously mentioned subject and more or less means a quantity (some, any) and is a more advanced grammatical tool than you need for this sentence (in this solo context anyhow)

Lastly, yes! You can say "quinze cents" to mean 1500 (as a year or quantity).

(choose from translates as choisir parmi).

Yo can say quinze cents like in English.
