In general, do you think men or women are more picky about what they want in a partner?

i don't think its fair to generalize. Both men and women can be excessively picky, or they even can be  not picky enough.  People are all individuals.

I reckon younger guys are more picky as their girlfriends can be an indication of how successful they are, but women as they move from 20 onwards are FAR more picky as they realise their options more!!!!

Women, all they dream about is hot guys with perfect bodies.

I'm a guy but I don't prefer anything as long as I'm attracted to her, I don't have like supermodel standards, and personality is huge. As long as you can have a great time it's all good.

I think most women expect more from men, but men are way pickier at picking a girl. A guy won't go out with an ugly girl... but pretty girls do go out with ugly guys.

i think that it goes both ways equally.  

women want someone who is going to be responsible. take care of the family needs. pay the bills, KEEP a job. love their kids, don't drink or do drugs that will interfere with family.

Men want a woman that can cook, take care of the kids..... keep up on the house....etc....

people are looking for a partner that knows what they want in life, people who have goals and morals. a high self esteem. a positive outlook on life.  

   i think that it is equal..... we all know what we are looking for in a partner, but the habits and life styles of them selves will reflect on the type of partner they choose for themselves

  some people are to picky and have their standards set to high.... they are never going to find the right person, because no one meets them.  be reasonable about what you expect from a partner, and keep in mind, that people don't want to change, and be someone they're not just to meet someone elses standards.

    be yourself and someone without expectations will appreciate you and what you do.  if someone tells you that you aren't what they are looking for, then you don't want them anyway. no one will be what they are looking for
