In general, is the marijuana from medicinal shops stronger than the weed being sold illegally in the streets?

I've seen alot of pot documentaries, and they have these shops with jars of different types of weed. Since its being grown professionally and legally, is it more potent then whats being grown and sold in the streets? Or do street hustlers also have all the same equipment/knowledge and maybe stronger potentency of THC?

My dad lives in California and has a medicinal marijuana license,  And he told me the thc content in the marijuana ia actually lower.  It don't get you as high as the stuff sold on the streets

You have no idea what is in or has been added to street drugs, so i'd think the potency from legal shops would be much less, but it can be a crapshoot.

in my experiments i think the weed on the streets r far better than the governments why cause if the government knew how to sell weed in shops then every pothead everywhere would send their dealers to bankrupts i know do this..call the weed store and say yes i would like to buy an oz of killer,bet they hang up on ya then u will know....and as far as equipment goes only thing u need is dirt,water,and sunshine...fish heads r great fertilizer to plant seeds in....FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!
