In god of war how do u beat the lava monster?

in the lava place the monster always slams into the wall then lava starts poring out then it kills me i tried to beat like 5 times.

do you mean the one that looks like a bull?

you just beat the c**p out of it til its stunned then you run up the stairs and launch the spike thing at it and it shoots into the wall. you do it and you should be able to do the button sequence thing on it and it will rip off its armor. you do that like 3 times.
