In golf, is it allowed to putt the ball with the back of my putter like a pool stick?

I find that I am more accurate if I use the back of my putter like a pool stick. Is this allowed?

Not if you want to finish the round-----alive. But you can use your putter as a pool cue in certain bars.

Not allowed in the rules of golf. The ball must be " fairly struck" with the part of the club designed for that purpose.
