  1. when a golf company says that their clubs or balls are "forgiving" it generally means that they can be hit off-center or not ideally, and the shot will still turn out good.

    Handicap is the difference between par and your score.

    for example, if you score an average of 79 for 18 holes, your handicap would be 7.
