  1. The marker is used to mark the ball while your on the putting green, you remove the flag when your on the green and putting, the golfer is responsible for covering holes in the ground that are made from your club during a swing, while others are ahead of you a player must wait till the players are out of the way. The site below has lots of information that will help you with your project. Good luck

  2. a marker is for when your ball is on the green. you put your maker down because your ball may be distracting to the other putter. or if the other golfer hits your ball he will get a penality stroke.

you remove the flag when you are on the green, because if you put and hit the flag it is a penelty point.

the golfer doesnt have to but should replace their divits that they make, and pick up after themselves basically

when the group ahead of you is far enough away. there is no set time. you need to know how far you can hit and when they are far enough that you wont hit them

  3. 1) A marker tells you how far you are away from the *center of the green*

    2) You remove a flag when the golfer is able to see the hole. You can't leave the flag in if the golfer is on the green. You may have someone attend the flag and pull it after the person has shot and the ball is coming up to the hole

    3) The golfer is never responsible for maintenance... but it's an unwritten bond that a golfer replaces his divots and green ball marks with a ball marking tool. Also putting the pin back in the hole, smoothing over the sand traps after they get out of them and tossing trash away.

    4) If you can hit the players ahead of you with the ball (or even come close) you should tee off. You want to give the group ahead of you a little space so you arent distracting them or cause physical harm.

  4. 1. A marker is used to mark the spot of your ball so other golf balls do not hit your ball.

    2. You remove the flag when your ball is on the green.  However, you have the option to remove the flag when you are on the edge of the green, also known as the fringe.

    3. The golfer must place the flag back in the hole when done and to repair divots.

    4. On a Par 3 - wait until the other group is COMPLETELY done and the flag is back in the hole.

On a Par 4 - wait until the other group is not in the line of your shot (aka, it is NOT possible for you to hit them).

        On a Par 5 - see "On a Par 4".

    Hope this will help!

  5. The marker is to mark ur ball if it is in the way of another players on the green

u remove the flag when all balls are clearly on the green

his own divets, and raking sandtrap

When the group is out of  your hitting distance or off the hole completely....sorry actually when the players are completely off the hole
