  1. Heres a great site giving the golf rules...

    http://www.usga.org/playing/rules/rules....

  2. Oh, there are just too many to list.  The rules of golf are the authoritive listing of violations and their penalties.  Check out the USGA or the R&A for the best info on this one.

  3. when youre scream out hey look an eagle!!!!!!

then you pick up the ball and throw it over to the hole

  4. Some of the common rules violations that will come up in a normal round of stroke play:

    - Asking another player  for advice, or giving advice to another player (except for your partner) - 2 strokes. But starting this year, you can give information about distance!

    - Touching your golf ball while it is in play (unless you are in the process of marking it) - one stroke

    - Hitting the flagstick or another player's ball with a putt - 2 strokes

    - Touching the ground with your club or hand, or removing natural objects (stones, leaves, etc) while in a hazard (including a bunker), - 2 strokes

    - Hitting a ball out of bounds, or losing a ball - one stroke, and you have to reply from the position of your last shot ("stroke and distance")

  5. anything to do with touching your balls?

    or the other guys balls

  6. The decisions for the rules of golf define violations and is an expansion of the small booklet which one gets with USGA membership. One example is carrying more than 14 clubs. That is a violation. Hitting the wrong ball or playing from in front of the tee markers are violations.
