I work in a Hazardous work area and have for the past 24 years first time filling for workmens comp. I'm on temp Disability for the past 5 Months. Hope to return as soon as possible.

The Ins.,Kicked in after 60 days they have made a total of 3 Car payments. They are pressuring me to go back to work they are asking me if I am willing to take part time work if I did go against my Doctors orders then I would jepardize my Wo/Comp claim.

Now they are asking my Employer if they would accept me working part time. I had already furnished them with a note from my MD indicating that they will not accept me back with any limitations.

The other weird question they asked was has this Employee called in sick in the past two years? My Loan originated two years ago and have 3 more to go.

Yes, I have, I had the flu or stomack flu." Not work related."

I have plenty of time on the books.

I thought I was buying Protection not a major pain.

Don't you think they should deny you before they take your money.

Any suggesstions? PLEASE HELP!

  1. Insurance companies love to collect premiums but hate to pay out.  Your Doctor is the key player here.  If he says you cannot work, then you cannot work and the Insurance company must keep paying whether they like it or not.  Don't get nasty with them, just refer them to your Doctor and if you feel they are harassing you, turn them in to your states insurance commissioner and/or the office of consumer protection

  2. Standard operating procedure for the insurance company.  They want to cut their losses by getting you back to work.  Just keep supplying them with what ever documents are needed, and get better.

  3. first, you should collect some resource  by searching the relevant keyword in search engine,if you got good luck there, then your problem solved.however,if you are not able to find the ideal answer by doing that, here is the resource i recommend.http://car-loan.free-deal.info/free-car-...

  4. Live and learn. Insurance companies are scum.

  5. They are trying to stop making the payments. Don't let it bother you. Just submit what they ask for and let them make the payments. They sold you the policy and they are required to make the payments. Personally, I think they are carrying it a bit far, but as long as they are not threatening to stop paying, let it go.

  6. Remember the story of a worker who was off on disability when he entered a race to climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty?  He won the race and it was printed in the papers.  His employer and insurance companies weren't too hapy to find out they had been scammed.

Lots of people try to push fraudulent claims.  It is the job of the claim department to pay the claims they owe and not pay the ones they do not owe.  To find out which is which,, they do an investigation.  That's what's happening here.  Just making sure they and their other policyhoders aren't being scammed.
