Question:

In ground pool leak?

Buying home with in ground pool that has sat for almost two seasons. Water line is about a foot below skimmer and has not appeared to move in the last two months. Neighbor told us another potential buyer had pool inspected and was told there is a leak at equipment concrete pad.

At time of last sale, 2005, the pool was in terrific shape. In 2006, new owners had pool open, but were inexperienced with managing it.

What could be leaking at that area and how much could the various possibilities run in repair costs? Due to water condition, we can't have pool inspected at this time. Will not be getting pool cleaned/opened until after sale is complete.

Thanks in advance for any responses.
