In gym class I hit a kid with a ball. What should I do?

In gym we were playing a basketball shootout game and I went to pass the ball (I'm not a basketball player whatsoever!) and my hands were sweaty and I launched the ball up over the person's head who I was supposed to pass it to and it hit a kid with glasses in the face. The gym teacher called me over and started yelling at me and told me it wasn't an excuse that I wasn't good at basketball and he thinks I purposely hit the kid in the face. I told him that I was sorry and would apologize to that kid. So, I apologized to the kid like 6 times and he told me I was starting to get annoying. His glasses didn't break, and so far he has no sign of bruising on his face, but I still feel bad about it. He's an unathletic, unpopular kid in our class. Anyone else would have had the reflexes to duck, but he didn't. Please tell me what I should do (I'm NOT buying him anything!)

  1. Seems like you apologized. That's good enough. Don't do it too much, as the other kid said, you were starting to get annoying. That sounds like he already accepted you apology. Just leave it as that.

  2. you already did what you suppose to do when you apoligized, it is up to him if he will accept it or not, just get on with your life

  3. You Apologized...that's enough.

  4. If hes pretty unpopular you might want to sit with him at lunch or somthing along those lines. Just accept him and get to know him more. It will make u fell better.

  5. I agree. You You apologized, that's all that needs to be done. Don't stress on the issue.

  6. just leave it

you apologized there's nothing more you can do

  7. Buying him?Don't even think that.

If it were me,the gym teacher comes over to me,I'd just apologize to the kid and walk away. But it's just me,because it doesn't hurt my future or anything if I get expelled. In fact,I get nothing but knowledge if I were to go to school.

You sure that gym teacher not the student's father?Because a survey says that almost half of the fathers that are coaches are biased,to their kids.

I don't understand, why you thinking about what to do?It's over, forget it.It doesn't matter how others think of you,as long as you didn't do that on purpose, you know it,that's okay.

Plus,it's not like that the two f**s are very important to you,why care what two scrubs think of you?

    It's over,no point to ponder,get over it.

Don't be soft(this word is not related in any kind of way to "kind").

  8. You apologized, so leave it at that.  Your gym teacher is an ***.  It was an accident.

  9. I think you did everything that you should have done.  You apologized to the kid.  Accidents happen, and luckily, in this case, no one got hurt.  The fact that you apologized to the kid 6 times means that you're a nice and caring person.  I think your gym teacher is unreasonable.  You don't need to do anything further.
