  1. Better range to their dominant hand side.  Always easier to hit forehand than backhand.

  2. Because, when u try to score a goal and u r on the left side, and u r left-handed, the goalie will probably stop the ball. But if u r on the other side of the court, u can do a finta, and pass the enemy wing or bek quite easily. hope I helped. It's all about the easiest way to score a goal.

  3. There isn't much use for a backhand stroke in handball, so any ball that a left-handed player 'plays' to his/her right will be played with the right (i.e. weaker) hand.  Playing on the right side of the court makes more of the court open to being played with the dominant hand.

Not so much of a problem with racquetball:  if you become proficient with the backhand stroke, the main limiting factors on your court coverage are reaction time and foot speed.

  4. so there is more space for both to hit. if you stand on the left you have the entire court to get ready to hit if your right handed and same goes for left handed. if your left handed and stand on the right theres basically no room for you to watch the ball come to you and you'll have to run your *** off when the balls on the other side of you
