i no they have a scene 2gether but it never shows both of them at once n i think i heard ages ago that they never saw each other during the making of heat just got a bet goin wit ma m8 nw

your right, they never actually worked together. Their parts were shot seperately.......Until the latest movie they have done together.

thats what i thought, i didnt think they were both together in that coffee shop scene, but if you watch the extras on the heat dvd u can clearly see them sitting together being directed by the director. they only show them one side at a time in that scene but they were filming it with two cameras. they actually filmed it many times, most of that scene is from the 11th take (as told on the dvd). anyway, whoever bet that they DIDN'T appear together owes the other one money

That's correct.

At no time in that film did they actually appear (or film) the same scene together at the same time.

Although, there may be a single scene where their performances were "spliced" together.
