In high school to ppl become more mature?

I'm going to be a freshman and I was just wondering do people become more mature? Do they stop insulting to make them look good?or is the opposite.

It really depends.

Most of the people who realize that part of high school is growing up and becoming more mature. They realize that scaring the freshmen is jsut pointless and immature.

But there are always going to be a few jerks. Just remember that whenever they make fun of someone to make to tehmselves feel better, it proves that they are PATHETIC. That'd the best you can do with your life? That's sad. Just do your work and have some fun, ok? Becasue you'll be the one in hte good college with good friends, and the immature jerks will be teh ones taking your order  at McDonald's.

Well, in the high school i am currently attending, almost 95% of students are mature. The same percentage is focused strongly on their academics. Everyone is friends; so, its basically one big community.

But then again, that's just my high school.

I know other high schools in which students are immature, arrogant, and do not portray a good image by their etiquette.

I guess you will just have to wait and find out how your high school will be like for you. I am sure if you mind your own business, people will mind theirs.

Especially the girls... some of them will ALWAYS be immature and stupid.

When I finally got to high school, many of the a******s slowly dropped out and each year got a little better as people started growing up.  Leaving high school, though, for college was the biggest blessing.

I would say many students are more mature, but just because someone is mature doesn't mean they are going to be a nice person.
