In high school when does the basketball season start and end?

WELL I PLAY BASKETBALL FOR MY VARSITY TEAM AND WII START OUR SEASON IN NOVEMBER AND END IN JANUARY...BUT ALSO WII HAVE TOURNAMENTS PRACTICES ALMOST EVERYDAY AND DURING THE SUMMER WII TRAVEL FOR TOURNAMENTS AND STUFF UPSET BTW I LIVE IN NYC ..SO I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE SAME WHERE U LIVE @

Where I live, the season starts late November and ends in early February. The rest of the February month is for the state playoffs and state championship.

Like mentioned in another answer, even though the season is only in the winter, we play year round in tournaments and training. Last year the only month my team had off was April. Other then that, it's year round.
