  1. spanish

  2. English duh :P

actually, I find German easy to learn, I also learn French at school (Jai' detest te Francais)

  3. For most people with English as their first language, a Romance language (i.e. Spanish, French, Italian) is the easiest to learn.  For most of us, Spanish is probably the most useful.

  4. depends. if you dont want to learn it then it might as well be navajo. Choose the language you have the most intrest in. I say this as someone who has studied several languages, and in all honesty chinese i think is one of the easiest to learn to speak but hardest to read and write.

altho most highschool offer spanish or french. they are near the same thing. its just do you want to speak with your throat or your tounge.

  5. Spanish is probably the easiest to learn but what you take should depend on what you want to do in your life.  If you're at all interested in the medical field or the science fields, then you should take Latin.

  6. in my opinion the easiest to learn is Spanish. Most people in high school take spanish, the others take italian and french. Spanish is taught mostly in middle school. They usually dont teach the other languages. SPanish is the most used language anyway.

    =)

  7. Spanish is probably the easiest in the beginning, due to its ease of pronunciation (especially compared to French). French has a pronunciation that is more difficult to master. However, I have heard from foreign language teachers that speak both French and Spanish that there is a point where advanced Spanish gets more difficult than its counterpart in French (Spanish uses the subjunctive a lot more, where as it is not as common in French).

So I guess it comes down to how far you want to go. If you are gonna take it to the really advanced level, French may be easier. If you are only taking it for a couple years, Spanish might be the way to go. And for a personal opinion, I think Spanish is more useful in today's world.

  8. In my opinion I think they're all not easy. My freshmen and sophomore year I took Spanish I and Spanish II. Spanish I was easy for me, but I had dificulties in Spanish II so I didn't take Spanish III my junior year in high school. Plus I have friends who took German I and II and I have a few who took French. The German sounds  interesting, but I don't care for French, it's too weird.

  9. I took 2 years of Spanish and 2 years of French.  They were both really easy for me, but I was told that Sign Language was the easiest of them all.

  10. Personally I am taking Spanish and my friend is taking French. They are both really similiar to each other though. But I would def. pick Spanish or French. And some of teh things are sometimes obvious.

  11. Having taken Spanish all through high school and college, but having friends who took French or German (as well as making forays in exploration myself), I would say Spanish is probably the easiest.  The pronunciation is simple and very close to English, the spelling even simpler because it is truly phonetic (if you can say it, you can spell it).  It is also really useful because it is a descendent of Latin (Big help with the ACT/SAT vocabulary type questions!)

The other big plus is it is really easy to get practice with in most states, as there are a lot of immigrants from Mexico and other hispanic countries.  However, if you live in the north, close to or in Canada, French may be more useful on a daily basis.  Whichever, you probably already know several words in each.

    Consider these things when choosing:

    1) If you go to a business or government agency, what is the one language you most often see written besides English?

2)What are your plans for after high school?  Do you plan on travelling?  Where?

3)What language are your friends pursuing?  Does anyone in your family know another language?  It helps a lot to be able to practice with someone else!

Know that learning a foreign language may seem unimportant, but it teaches you many things that will be useful later (even if it is only sympathy for those learning English!)

  12. I took 3 years of Spanish and one year of German. By far, German was easier. It is just so much closer to English.

  13. Spanish.

I'm taking latin, ehh Thanks to my parents.

    It's my SENIOR year!!
