In history: What were the major issues facing Washington's presidential?

administration. Does anyone think he and his administration dealt with those issues effectively? Thanks for the help

  1. just throwing in my 2 bits worth, for me, the greatest thing washington ever did was to turn down a kingship. he was offered it by the dimmies who had spent the previous 5 yrs leading a war against england, otherwise known as our founding fathers, and not only turned it down but demanded  from his officers that they would not only not entertain the idea of his or anyones right to be king of the u.s., but made them join a society, the society of cinncinnatus, whose main function was to prevent anyone from becoming king. unfortunately, the temptation to become president was still too great for some of our more popular generals. if wasshington had not turned the offer down,  the united states, and indeed the world would be very different, as the first democratic republic would have been stillborn.
