  1. Would you rather a stiff without a suit??

  2. Well weren't you ever sent to the office in school? He is the principle of sorts........

Seriously, someone has to keep track of the clock and open and shut the door..........

  3. He manages the penalty box and sets the time for penalty.

  4. There is NO door on the outside of the penalty box, so somebody needs to be inside to open the door

    - he is also there to provide timing functions

    - in the case of multiple penalties, he ensures the right player leaves the box on a power-play goal

  5. Multiple jobs.  First, he tracks the time on the game clock that the player entered.  He then calculates when the player is going to return to the ice based on the total penalties assessed.  These steps are taken in the event that there is a clock malfunction.  His final job is to open the door for the player once the penalty is finished based on either the penalty clock or, in the event of a malfunction, when the player is legally allowed to enter the ice.

  6. Who cares..he has one of the best seats in the arena.

  7. He has to fight the player if he tries to escape.

  8. r u serious.... do you not watch hockey much? Great sport.
