  1. If you are referring to a lead change in canter there are two options:

    1. (the easy version) Once you have changed direction, bring the horse back to trot for a few strides then ask him to strike off in canter again on the correct leg.

    2. To perform a flying lead change both you and the horse need to be quite highly trained.
