In how many days can I remove the tape of my C-section? I think they are called steri-trips?

I gave birth on june 26th and the strip like tape over the stitches are getting dirty I missed my first doctors appt after the c-section because I had a family emergency and had the appt rescedual for the july 26th...can I remove the tape already....I pulled back one of the strips and it look fine to me everything looks tucked in

hey don't touch them it can get infected or worse open up please don't touch them

Steri strips fall off by themselves. Pulling on them pulls on the stitches and thats not good. With normal wear the strips come off in the span of a few weeks. The edges will peel up on their own and you can snip the edges off as they come up.
