In how many days will I get the passport under tatkal scheme , i applied on 10th june 2008.?

I have paid 2500 rupees and it is stated in the site that i would get it within 1- 7 days of date of application. I have not got it still.

What to do ?

There is a lot of hanky panky in every Passport Office. Try and meet the PRO of the Passport Officer or seek an appointment with the Passport Officer.

It is actually late, as today is 8th day of application.

Actually it is 1-7 days (INR 2500) from the date of application, thus it will be 5 working days as per passport office. Please check with the Passport Office where you made the application.

I received the passport on third working day (Thursday submitted, and received on Monday) from Kerala.
