In india how are the different coaches of a train(based on class eg.A/C , sleeper) arranged?

For Eg.....how can i locate A/C - 2 - tier coach of a train?

There are variou classes in Indian trains and they are 3tier sleeper you will find s1,s2 written outside the coach.while 3AC has AS1,AS2 written @AC will have written on the coach A! A2 Etc.Also there will be annoouncement which coach is where from the engine.

IN A/C - 2 - tier coach there are only LOWER BIRTH AND UPPER BIRTH.I think my answer should be right.
