In indian railways is it possible to get berth for child below 5 years by paing for them.?

I have twins of 3 years+. It is difficult to manage in sleeper class without berth with twins. Is it possible to get berth for them by paying half fare?

check out amtrack.com you may want to call them I will tell you it is expensive even for one adult I looked at california to iowa for a family member and yipes it was cheaper to fly them here.

The rule is <5yrs. , no ticket- no berth. <12 yrs. half ticket, one bearth. What U can do is claim one bearth by paying 1/2 ticket for one of ur child.
