Hmm i wouldnt say going to 6 cities is the best idea. better to include some cities and some nice touristy places.

Heres a route suggestion

Belfast - Giants Causeway - Ailwee Caves (Clare)- the burren (clare)- cliffs of moher (clare) -dingle and ring of kerry - kilkenny city & castle- Glandalough (Wicklow) - dublin city & all its attractions- home

its not so much cities that are great in ireland its the sites and people. , tho dublin is great.

maybe a day in dublin and galway (my town but i sure wouldnt come to ireland to visit 6 cities there not that exciting countryside is where it all happpens a pub in the middle of nowwhere u can meet life long friends thats the ireland u should be after

The great thing about Ireland is the countryside and the people that live in it. What's with this fixation on cities? They're convenient alright, but you meet some real characters in the country also.
