to put on a shirt we use きます, to wear shoes we use はきます...

so what verb do we use when i want to say i want to wear my clothes or pajamas ?give an example plz

    shoes = haku

    clothes for the upper half of the body = kiru

    clothes for the lower half of the body = haku

    hat = kaburu

    glasses = kakeru

    ring = hameru

    about pajamas

    'kiru', when you say 'pajamas (both shirt and pants).

    'haku', when you say only pajama's pants.

    hat is not kiru but kaburu

    tie and bra are not kiru but tsukeru.

    ill give you all examples lest you confuse.

    shirt = kiru

    what a nice shirt you're wearing

    =ii shatsu wo kiteru ne.

    shoes = haku

    he always wears black shoes.

    kare wa itsumo kuro i kutsu wo haiteiru.

    clothes for the upper half of the body = kiru

    same as shirt

    clothes for the lower half of the body = haku

    hat = kaburu

    glasses = kakeru

    ring = hameru

    she wore a diamond ring on her finger.

    =kanojo wa daiya no yubiwa wo hamete ita.

  3. Kiru is for the upper body

    Haku is for the lower body.

    Pijamas uses kiru.

    Kiru: shirt, hat, tie, bra, vest, jacket, blouse

    Haku: pants, shoes, socks, underwear
