Question:

In knocking Palin's lack of experience, do liberals know the difference between President & Vice President?

If the inexperienced Obama wins, he will be President. He will have to hit the ground running. From Day One, he will have to assume the duties of perhaps the most important job on earth.

If McCain wins, the inexperienced Palin will be the Vice President. Unlike the Presidency, a lack of experience is not as crucial an issue with the Vice Presidency.

The Vice President, if inexperienced, has the time and space to grow into the job.

So ... why are liberals trying to equate Obama's lack of experience with Palin's lack of it?

  1. Great point.  I would agree with you I would feel more confident in someone who had more experience in the white house than someone who didn't.  Huge difference in President and Vice President.

    Pray for our nation.

    God bless you.

  2. As I understand, her experience has been in:  taking on the corrupt Republicans in Alaska and winning!  That experience could be VERY valuable in Washington, DC.  It certainly must be the reason she was chosen.  She is not just a rule follower.  She will make changes within the system.  Good choice.

OH... and... what we want this election year is somebody who is sick of how things are, and want them to be different.  That's mainly what Obama has going for him.  So, now McCain has that, too.  It's too exciting.  This is going to be a fun election year.

  3. When you get a Prexie candidate as old as John Mcsameasbush, you better have a VP who can step right in and take over the high office!

  4. You have to remember that Mc Cain is 72 years old and has health problems. Do you really want someone with only 2 years experience as a Governor as president if anything happens to Mc Cain??? I know I sure don't!!!

  5. you do realize that if McCain dies the vice president becomes president. Thus you have a woman yes but a woman that is very inexperienced to be in office. Sorry she has far less experience than Obama and not only that she is NO Hillary.

  6. it doesn't really matter, all politicians are experienced in promising the world and delivering nothing.

i'm older than you,i cannot count the excuses that have been used for incompetence and self-seeking gain.

  7. Apparently not.  They also don't understand the difference between executive and senatorial.

  8. Because they know their man is an empty suit who can turn out the same old liberal drivel and make them weepy eyed. They know only they believe him.

  9. The "liberals' aren't equating their levels of experience. If McCain, at age 72, wins the election, succumbs to some sickness or other life ending event, the Palin will be the president. McCain himself said that his advanced age would make his choice of VP a very important one. If he dies, she won't have the time to grow into the role.

Palin's experience is a year and a half as governor of a state with the third lowest population in the US, and four years as mayor of a town of 5000 people. Sure, she has more executive experience than McCain, Obama, or Biden, but she has less political experience than any of them.

  10. Palin admits she doesn't even know what a VP does.

you might want to tell her what a vp does.obama  has loads more experience. and just incace you didnt know this.....sometimes the vp has to step up and become president.it would be wise to choose someone who will be able to run the country.if you think she has more experience then obama you need to get your facts straight, educate yourself hun.

  11. Because the Dems only have Obama, the audacity of inexperience and fluff, to sell to the voters. And Biden who is same-o same-o Washington establishment, no change at all.

  12. Okay Jenny, I doubt you actually care about the answer but here I go. Obama is extremely smart, this man was President of Harvard Law review, that is one of the highest legal appointments in the country, he then was a state senator then a U.S. Senator, Palin on the other hand is an Airhead who pumps out a unit every nine months and was the mayor of a "city" of 8,000 people, then Governor of Alaska wow. And the reason her experience or lack of is important because McCain is 72 years old and has 3,000+ pages of medical history, so the man could drop on a dime. AND I am not ready to leave this country to an Airhead to run, we have already seen those results for the last 8 years.

  13. No they don't know the difference, nor do they know the difference between experience an inexperience.  Palin has more executive experience than all 3 combined.  She had more experience when she was mayor, plus real world business experience.  Too bad she's only back up.

  14. Naw, the dont know and dont care. They reflect the failure of the public education system a real diaster. few exceptions

  15. All I have heard from liberals today is how Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to be a heart beat away from the presidency. She has THE SAME amount of experience as Barack Obama. Obama would not be heart beat away, he WOULD BE the president, with the same lack of experience as Palin. Why do liberals not get this fact??

  16. Except Obama has just suffered through a year and a half of one of the tough elections in history, has rallied more people to vote for him than ever in history, and has seemed pretty calm and cool about it. Palin has made one speak on T.V. today, and could just as easily be our president in February. There's a big difference.

  17. It's not so much that.  You have a point.  But McCain is beating Obama like a rented mule daily about lack of experience.  Makes this seem like a "what were they thinking" moment.

  18. Do Neocons only know how to post a question by insulting people?

    Answer to both:  Yes.

You have a weak candidacy.  Take responsibility and remember the bad deeds of the rest of your leaders.

  19. Do you? palin may have never been outside the USA.

  20. I would think they would have the smarts to not go down that road. But they don't.

  21. Obama's Education- BA International Studies, Law Degree from Harvard, 1st black editor of the Harvard Law Review (The most respected law review in the country)

Sarah Palin Education-BA Journalism Idaho University

    Obama-Post College Law/Community/Government Experience-

Community Organizer, U. of Illinois-Chicago Constitutional Law Proffessor, Illinois State senator, 4 years U.S. Senator

    Palin Post College/Community/Government Experience-

Anchorage Sports reporter, City council member and later mayor of a town of 9000 people....no thats not a typo...she was the mayor of a town of 9000. Governor of Alaska for 20 months

Obama doesnt have the typical "Washington" experience, but he is a very well educated intellectual who knows the law as well as anyone in the country, recieved his degree in international studies, has experience in the Senate and working with the congress who he'll have to work with as a President.

Regardless if you are a McCain supporter or not, having a U. of Idaho Journalism major whose only experience before being a 20 month governor of the 47th most populous state in the nation was city council and mayor of a town of 9000 as the person 2nd in command and one heart beat away from the presidency behind a multiple cancer survivor who will be the oldest ever elected first term president (72) has to worry you, whether you will admit it or not.

  22. I see Palin as a female Teddy Roosevelt

  23. I really doubt you care about who has or doesn't have experience. You just care that experience is the buzz word that the media's been using.

I know nothing of Palin, as of now.  I'll be interested to read more about her in the coming weeks and hear her talk.

  24. I still can't figure out why they are intentionally trying to anger and upset the two largest voting blocks in the country. Throwing Hillary under the bus, attack Gov Palin and women, insulting seniors about McCain's age. Who knows?

  25. Palin has more viable experience in her little toe than Obama and Biden combined.

Obama is so inexperienced, that's why he chose Biden who happens to be an insider Washington guy, the very thing he's tried to nail McCain about.

America will see what Palin is made of in the debate against Biden. Just because she has a pretty face, don't bee fooled. She is a hardcore reformer and very savvy and has knocked a few very powerful men from their high horses.

I am excited about having her on the ticket.

  26. Nope, we see a 72year old man on the top of the ticket and a newbie that says she doesn't know much about Iraq during a time of war in Iraq.  That's all many need to know.

  27. Excellent  clever question. I don't think  the liberals want to  understand the difference.  Their goal is to put a liberal in the White House.

  28. Just like president Clinton said , they called him inexperienced and he was younger then Obama when he became president. The bottom line is John McCain means 4 years of the same and our country is a complete mess thanks to the Bush administration.

  29. Palin admits she doesn't even know what a VP does.  SEE/HEAR HER IN HER OWN WORDS:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pak-rH0dC...

(her V.P. comments are toward the end of the video)

  30. Because Palin will likely be President if McCain is elected. He may not be able to carry out his full term. He could die or get seriously ill.

  31. Yes I do know. The surprising thing is not the inexperience it's the fact that McCain has negatively endorse Obama as inexperienced yet he chooses a candidate who is.
