  1. Democrats argue issues.  Republicans argue personalities.

Democrats look to the future, republicans the past.

Democrats say, "Hope".  Republicans say, "Fear".

  2. Primarily Democrats believe government knows what is best for you and is there to take care of you through taxation and legislation.  Republicans believe government should be involved in your life minimally and that if left alone you will take care of yourself and prosper.

  3. Democrats believe YOU are incapable of running your life, and YOUR money. They want to Socialize EVERYTHING, which will justify THEM taking ALL of YOUR hard-earned cash, and giving it to the bums who are too lazy to work!

Republicans believe in personal responsibility, and little, if any Governmental interference with YOUR life. It's YOUR money, manage it! It's YOUR life, live it!! If YOU earn it, YOU should KEEP it!!

  4. Democrats mostly do things to try to help the less wealthy and the needy.

Republicans mostly do things to stimulate business, and hope the "trickle down" effect with help the common man.

Both things are important, and we shou'ldn't throw the baby out with the bath water by completely stopping either of these things.

luckily the US public is clever enough to maintain a balance between the two parties, as chaos and disaster would ensue if either were ever to gain true power.

  5. Nothing. Elections have to be fought between two or more parties. So two parties were formed with one  name to each of them. If not Democrat or Republican it could be anything else.

  6. The political divide is completely superficial. People are easier to manipulate and control when they won't even stand together for a greater good.

One has a mascot of a donkey; The other of an elephant with stars on it's back, which were turned upside-down in 2000, Bush Jr's 1st year in office.

  7. Democrats believe in government social control and social justice.  Think of the government as a big parent and all the people the government serves are a bunch of children.

Republicans believe government is a referee and aid.  If two people can't agree, they use the government as a referee to iron out the differences.  Laws are a response to solving these disagreements.  Government is also there to provide non capitalistic services such as creating roads, providing a military, a police force, fire service etc.  Such past systems when capitalistic such as private armies, police forces and even fire crews would be to unprofitable or too corrupt to function.  That's why those services are different from other services such as trash and utilities (even though the mafia has been involved with trash collection and utilities).  In Roman times, fire crews would delay (first fire crew on site was the one that got paid) or attack other fire crews and some fire crews would actually start fires if they wanted more money.  Private armies are corrupt to this day.  They believe government welfare causes laziness and corruption rather than actually helping the poor.  For instance food stamps are now like a credit card because people were selling their food stamps for alcohol and illegal drugs. Republicans have horror stories for every socialized idea put into practice.

  8. Democrats = No personal responsibility and socialist government

Republicans = Minimal government and people should be responsible for their own lives without looking to the government for help.

  9. Nothing. they are both corrupt, lie to the public, are only concerned with their own affairs, try to s***w eachother over, and only do whats good for the nation when it's election time.
