In light of the fact that the McCann’s ‘Official suspect’ status has been lifted, how can?

the suspicion of them ever be lifted when there are so many unanswered questions.

Like for instance, the cuddle cat mystery and the fact that Kate based the abduction on cuddle cat being ‘placed’ on a high shelf out of reach from Madeleine? But according to these pictures, I don’t see any shelves?

So why are none of these discrepancies being answered?

Kate told interviewers that she knew at once Madeleine had been abducted, but when asked how, said she couldn't say because of the ongoing investigation.

Perhaps now she'll be asked that question again.

Also, Gerry might be asked why he said, in a panicky way, "No comment" when asked if he had previously known Robert Murat.

And why he hated being asked who last saw the little girl alive.

hi seven, i asked something similar earlier, my replies where similar to yours LOTS of noise but everyone avoiding the question .... good luck with this one... f***y haddock apparently has links to pictures that actually show shelves in the bedroom ... still waiting for the links off her though ... and no-one is bothering to explain away the LIE's that either kate OR gerry is saying re cudlecat ...ONE of them is lying ........

but its ok i don't really expect any kind of answer from the pro's ....cos there is NO reasonable believable explanation...

It'll all come out one day. There's far too many unanswered questions but someone will open up the can of worms and we'll find out what really happened. Someone is definitely hiding information and the police know this.

The PJ were hindered by lawyers many times during the investigation and thus many lines of enquiry were cut short. The McCanns were constantly diverting attention away from important issues and were aleways more interested in covering their own backs than looking for Maddy.The McCanns may have been cleared today but there are still many unanswered questions.....DNA matches, cadaver dogs, text messages, One Irish witness who was forbidden to be interviewed. In my eyes they will always be guilty and no amount of play acting and crocodile tears will change my mind. It will also be interesting to hear what Mr Amaral has to say in his book due out on Thursday.No doubt the vultures will try to sue him too because he is getting too close to the truth.y

Seven why not send your theories about "cuddle cat" and missing shelves to the cops in Portugal. They may, with your "expert evidence", even reopen the case.. They have already said that if any good evidence comes to light they would do just that.

The McCanns said that they couldn't answer any questions relating to the case whilst they were arguidos. Let's see if they can start answering these questions now the status has been lifted. It will be interesting to see if they have any TV interviews lined up and if any of the channels have the guts to ask these questions!!

I think until they sit down and publicly answer all the unanswered questions there will always be the suspicion that they were involved!!!

What has happened today is a meaningless stunt "shelved" what does that mean nothing basically nothing has altered.

How can anyone be cleared when there is no evidence to the contrary. The only way the question mark will be lifted from them is when Madeline turns up until that day they will always be suspects !!

sorry but your daughter is "abducted" by an egg (please refer to the original sketch!!), you think the abductor is in the room but you leave your children in there with him to go back to the tapas bar, your only bit of "evidence" is that cuddle cat was placed out of maddies reach and you lie over and over again about the timeline of the night!

you would think if you were truly innocent there would be no need to lie!

im so pleased that the mccanns are not living in the shadow of guilt any longer. their status as aguidos should never have been instigated as there has never been any evidence of a crime on their part.

i hope they can now live as normal a life as possible while madeleine is missing and that the twins can also enjoy normality

They will always remain the principle suspects in the case.The shelving of the case in no way absolves them from suspicion.They will always remain number one prime suspects and nothing that any of the blinkered pro brigade can say will change that.They try to justify the fact that McCanns repeatedly neglected all three of their children night after night by saying that it was a tragic mistake even though Maddie had asked only the night before she went missing "Where were you last night mummy when we were crying".I'm sorry but I'm just not buying the theory that they left the children by mistake,NO NO NO NO .

Gerry stated all along that the apartment was in clear view of the Tapas bar at all times,if that was the case why did Kate run all the way back to the tapas bar to raise the alarm.Surely she could have easily raised the alarm from the patio of the apartment,after all it was only like dining in the garden
