  1. First, he was fat (portly/overweight...however you want to call it). Second, he had to use thick glasses.

    Note that in both instances, "handicapped" doesn't imply he's disabled. Here, handicapped is used in the sense that he was at a disadvantage compared to the other boys and therefore an outcast.


  2. Jack stole his glasses, so he was basically blind and also he was pudgy.

  3. Piggy was a scratch golfer. He had no handicap.

  4. what do you mean by handicap? He had bad vision and they "stoled" his glasses from him.

  5. hurm? well he's not. Maybe he's overweight, clumsy, somewhat softie from other peers and perhaps, wear a thick glasses. Good book though, film adaptation not bad too. =) cheers
