In magic the gathering can a creature ability like tap a land, gain +1/+1, be used with no limit in same turn?

Any ability can be played as many times as you want as long as you can pay its cost (or its restricted by any card).

For example Lodestone Myr says:

Trample

Tap an untapped artifact you control: Lodestone Myr gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

You can use the ability as many times as you want as long as you have an artifact to tap.

if you are willing to spend the mana to use the ability more then once,  then i guess you could use it a few times. The rules say nothing agianst that...from what i know...so i would say that it is ok(unless it says it can only be used once per turn

If there is a tap symbol next to the ability, then no.

If there isn't, you can use it as many times as you want as long as you have the mana to do so.

If you have something like Shivan Dragon, which says," (R): Shivan Dragon gets +1/+0 until end of turn. " you can use it as many times as you have mana.
