when you attack and you have a taunting elf on your side do you have to say you attack with it?

I generally say what I'm doing with each card. I don't know rules, but I guess it would be inferred, since it has no other abilities.

you have to declare which creature is attacking yes.

you cant be like i attack.

b/c your opponent doesn't know what to defend against.

Well you can't be vague with it.  If you have 1 creature and you say "I attack" well then it's implied that you are attacking with that.  But just tell them what you are attacking with, otherwise how will they know what they are blocking?
