In mario kart ds i cant pass the mission 1-8 where you have to power slide 4 times?

i pressed r and i drifted but i still had 0/4 and i kept drifting until the end and i lost plz give me helping info

What i did was i powerslided 4 times at the very start of the race and then just go as fast as i can to the finish line.

or if you don't know how to powerslide this is how you do it:Hold R while driving.

or they must want you to powerslide boost.

Read your manual for details.

I have mario kart and that pissed me off too. But what you do, is you drift in one direction, then press the opposite one, and then go back to the original direction you wanted to drift, that should give you the boost, but i believe you will have to do that twice for the boost. contact me if you need more help
