  1. Yes, I've never heard of a part-time med school.  In fact, most med students are in school far more than full-time.


  2. There is no such thing as a part time medical student.  It requires practically all of your time for studying, attending classes, taking exams, or working on the wards.  The schedule is fixed and the time that your days end vary, sometimes early afternoon other times late at night and sometimes the next morning if you are taking overnight call.  No time for an outside job.

  3. Yes, and most schools state that if your grades are below where they should be and you are found to have a part-time/full-time job, you could be kicked out.  All I can say is, take out the loans, don't look at the final amount, and start paying them off as soon as residency is over.  Most specialties start at $200K+/year and you could have it paid off in a couple of years living a comfortable lifestyle.
