In mid July I'm going to Machu Picchu. Can you recommend a Tour co. to use for the 2 day Inca Trail hike?

In July I'm headed to Machu Picchu. I only have enough time to do the 2 day Inca trail hike. I'm looking for recommendations of Tour/ travel companies which offer the 2 day Trek? What is the cost? Am I able to get a permit to enter the park the day before the trek? Any types are greatly appreciated!!!

All Inca Trail permits for July (and August) are completely sold out.

No one will be able to put you on the Inca Trail in July.  But it is possible to do some other hikes, like in Lares Valley or to Choquequirau.  Here's one website http://www.peruandes.com

Maybe once you get to Cuzco and walk around the main plaza the travel agencies could have some spaces for the trail.

If you dont get a space for doind the inca trail you can go to the town, Aguas Calientes one day before sleep there and then walk all the way up to Macchu Picchu, so you see the sunrise (its breath taking, seeing the sunrise from up there)
