  1. CanProf is accurate.  The only "standard" is:  How much money will this make?   The industry repeats the same no brain formulas over and over.  Just because they are proven "winners".

    When the species gets a clue, gets rid of the psychopaths running the planet, and realizes, generally, what art is truly all about --feeding the heart/soul, then innovation will "run rampant"  in popular entertainment  :))
