When you wait to get out of jail, do you get out on your 3rd or 4th turn

i.e. do you stay in jail for 2 full turns or 3?

  1. when we play that game all we do is if your in jail you only have to pay $50 to get out...but idk because we dont play it really any more.

Here's the rules.  You get out when you roll doubles or on your third turn

  3. when your in jail, you can either pay 50 $ and play that turn., or you can spend 3 turns trying to get doubles on the dice. and if u get doubles u dont have to pay yourself out of jail.

    :)

  4. First of all if you are asking this question then you own the game and if you own the game then you have the directions. If you have unfortunately lost the instructions on how to play then since I have them right in front of me right now I can tell you that you can roll a double, pay $50, use a"Get out of Jail Free" card or wait until your third turn.

  5. whn i play i stay in jail for 2 whole turns.

  6. The way i always played is, when you go to jail, you get 3 rolls to try to get doubles, and if you don't get it.. on you 4th time, you got to pay the $50 to get out..

  7. This is the rule:

A player gets out of Jail by... (1.) throwing doubles on any of his next three turns. If he succeeds in doing this he immediately moves forward the number of spaces shown by his doubles throw. Even though he has thrown doubles he does not take another turn; (2.) using the "Get Out of Jail Free" card if he has it; (3.) purchasing the "Get Out of Jail Free" card from another player and playing it; (4.) paying a fine of $50 before he rolls the dice on either of his next two turns

If the player does not throw doubles by his third turn he must pay the $50 fine. He then gets out of Jail and immediately moves forward the number of spaces shown by his throw.

So, if you don't pay your way out, or have a "Get out of Jail Free" card, or throw a double on your first and second turn, you must leave jail on your third turn after getting in jail--either by rolling a double on the third turn, or by paying $50.
