I know it's not strictly for Christmas, but it has alot of the foods that we enjoy.

  5. Yes...toutriere ( meat pie ) is the main dish..but there is as well...the stuffed turkey, mashed potatoes, pork stew, and to drink the traditionnal eggnogs.

  6. Tortiere, poutine, Jos. Louis and a Pepsi.

  7. On Christmas Day we usually eat Turkey, Stuffing and all of the usual stuff. On Christmas eve it depends on what type of  Montrealer you are. If you are hardcore Quebecois, then you would have french food.

  8. Mel, you asked this same question 3 hours ago and received 2 responses.  I can't give you a link to my hairdresser.  I can't even give you the recipe. I even looked up The French Chef by Julia Child, of course, she was the French Chef not the French Canadian Chef.  Only thing I can think of now is try "thefoodnetwork.com".  There is a French Chef on the food network on TV the show name is Ricardo... and we view it at 7:00pm and the show is repeated the following morning at 9:00am - His show comes out of Quebec.

    Good Luck
