In my 1992 Geo Metro, my low beam headlights work, but my high beam headlights dont. Checked fuse, bulb, etc.

The fuses are fine, the bulbs are fine, and the switch on the column is working. What could the problem be?

I would double check the switch, check the power out of the switch

Test the socket, could be the socket connection.  Test your wires perhaps one is burned out?

Start at the sockets with a VOM.  If it shows current on both elements test the bulb.  Don't touch the bulb with bare hands.
