  1. unfortunately, once a post goes to the group, there is no moving it to where it may belong. this happens here and there on my groups, or some one will reply and make it a whole new topic thread. it's annoying, but not much can be done

  2. You can always try writing to the member and suggesting the reply be sent under the correct topic....

    I hope this helps...

  3. I don't think there is any such option (don't know about new yahoo groups beta), however, if your group is set to be moderated, you can 'Edit' the message (subject and contents) before approving it. You can change the subject to be the correct one and remove the incorrect topic reference from the contents.

  4. I've noticed that when certain people reply they consistently do this.  I've tracked it down to Individual Email responders and it seems to be related to the email client.  The clients must do something differently in the subject line or header to cause Groups to not associate it with the original thread.

So, you may discover addressing it with poster to be unproductive.

  5. you're unable to move them, unfortnately.

  6. Anytime someone replies to the group and changes the subject line even slightly, it creates an entire new "thread." You can't actually "move" the message to another topic but you can go to the web and enter a reply to that post - changing the topic to the original/correct subject line text and adding a moderator note: [Moderator Note: subject line edited to reflect current topic]
