  1. no probably not. Hamels is a good pitcher but if you need a good bat than obviously markakis is the better option. besides, Hamels is having an off year anyway

  2. I'd like to get a little more for Hamels but I don't know the rest of your situation. Try to counter and see what happens or try to get another team involved.

    Good luck. Have fun.

  3. I wouldn't trade Hamels. Hamels gets a lot of strikeouts and he has good offensive help for wins. Check out the free agent pool and players on hot streaks for more plate help also try shopping Hamels for better players.

  4. No

Hamels is doing very well this year, so I don't know what some of the other guys are talking about.

Anyways, you can get a much better hitter for Hamels straight up. Look for a top 25 hitter. Then go for the trade.

    Good luck!

  5. no WAY hamels is top notch and markakis although with upside hamels has more

  6. it depends on your OF, but without looking at your needs i'd say yea i would do this deal.....hamels seems to be the real deal and markasis seems to be good but not great for at least a couple of years until he really proves himself... so i would do that deal

  7. Def do not accept that trade. Cole Hamels should be able to get you a top 25 batter. Just work with all the other teams because he is def one of the best pitchers currently in baseball. Its nick markakis and he not really all that great. He a top 75 player but not worth trading cole hamels for at all. I would also say try to trade for a weakspot in your offense. if your weak at 3rd trade for a team with 2 3b eligiable players.
